Caring for Luna Tree Silver

All silver will tarnish naturally but the purer, higher content silver from Luna Tree Jewellery tarnishes slower than sterling.

Please follow these simple steps to have a lifetime of wear from your silver:

All silver should be stored in airtight bags whenever possible and in a cool dry place. Silver should never be worn when swimming, gardening, washing up or doing any kind of manual work. Being softer than sterling, Hill Tribe silver can be warped easily.

Please avoid contact with any chemicals such as perfume, hairspray and deodorant, these can tarnish the silver and generates more cleaning. (Your jewellery should always be the last thing you put on!)

A special silver cleaning cloth that is impregnated with non-abrasive silver cleaner is the best thing to clean any tarnish off, this will not damage or remove the dark oxidation in the design details of the jewellery. Silver cleaning cloths are available from most high street jewellers. Just rub gently to really make your jewellery shine.
